North Shore Preschool and Child Care is dedicated to the educational and emotional development of its children. We believe in care that extends from the child to the family. The parent is each child’s first teacher and with respect to that, we embrace the individuality, culture, and traditions of both Student and Family.
This is accomplished through open communication, engaging daily with our families at school, and frequent social events. We achieve successful teacher and child interactions by creating age-appropriate lessons and activities. These daily actions, coupled with compassion, help us build a sense of community.

A Message From Our Owner:
North Shore Preschool and Child Care began as a dream more than 13 years ago. I have always believed in the power of early childhood education and the important role high-quality care plays in supporting both children and families.
With over 28 years of experience in education, a Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Studies and Youth Leadership from UW–Milwaukee, and as a mother of four myself, I understand how meaningful it is to find a place where your child feels safe, supported, and excited to learn each day.
When we opened our first center, my vision was simple: create a nurturing environment where children could explore, learn through play, and develop the social and emotional skills that set the foundation for lifelong success. Today, that vision continues to guide everything we do.
At North Shore Preschool and Child Care, we believe children learn best through hands-on experiences, creativity, and meaningful relationships with caring educators. Safety, curiosity, and joyful learning are at the heart of our classrooms.
Over the years, we have grown alongside the families we serve. What began as one center has expanded to multiple locations, and we continue to look toward the future as we explore opportunities to serve even more families in our community.
We are proud to partner with YoungStar and NAC to maintain high standards of care and quality. We also collaborate with the local school district to support smooth educational transitions for our students. Additionally, partnerships with organizations such as the Kidokinetics and Computer Tots help enrich our curriculum and bring exciting learning opportunities to our classrooms.
My goal has always been to create a place where children feel inspired, families feel confident, and our community feels connected.
